Recreational Field Hockey offered in partnership with Kirkwood Sports!

Recreation Coordinator Laura Lee has put together multiple programs to develop athletes in SMART HOCKEY.

BABY SHARKS – ages 3-6 – parent and me program.  Next offering starts in April!

PIXIE STICKS – Grades 1 – 3.  Instructional programming in a fun environment!  Registration now open for March (indoor turf) or April/May (outdoors).

HOT SHOTS – Grades 3 – 5 (3rd grade with experience).  League play with heavy instruction.  Registration now open for March (indoor turf) or April/May (outdoors).

ACHIEVERS LEAGUE – Grades 6 – 8.  League play where you can bring your friends and get many touches on the ball.  Focus on SMART HOCKEY concepts.  Registration now open for March (indoor turf) or April/May (outdoors).

SUMMER REGISTRATION FOR HOTSHOTS AND ACHIEVERS IS OPEN! You can register for programming HERE. 

Summer sessions will take place Tuesdays/Thursdays in July and August. Please note you must register separately for each month. NEW! Can’t make 8 sessions? You can choose any four in a month – just choose that option in checkout. The timing of the weekly sessions on Tuesdays/Thursdays are-

  • Hot Shots 5:30-7pm
  • Achievers 7-8:30pm

We are excited to share that Hot Shots and Achievers League will also have a guest clinician for one session!  In July we will have Dru Moffett (July 7th), current U of Michigan player and former National Team member; August we will host Paul Zelenak (August 4th), head coach at Episcopal Academy Head Coach and finalist for 2025 USAFH National Coach of the Year!
