Pixie Sticks is a recreational skills clinic for our youngest players, grades 1 - 2. It includes fun skills drills and small sided games. Equipment needed - mouthguard, shin guards, and stick. We do have some loaner sticks available.
Hot Shots is a mix of small-sided games and skills instruction, for grades 3 - 5. Players are introduced to more “team” play at this level.
Achievers League - KSC Field Hockey Achievers program focuses on developing superior basic skills in preparation for the high school game of field hockey. Our emphasis on multiple touches on the ball effectively builds solid stick skills, decision making, and speed of play. The program runs on our beautiful Bermuda grass fields for first through eighth graders, and focuses on learning the game of field hockey in a fun, noncompetitive atmosphere. Our emphasis on multiple ball touches effectively builds solid stick skills, decision-making, and speed of play.
- Achievers League is for 6th - 8th graders, that includes two 25-minute 7 v 7 "pickup" games per week plus an opportunity for skill development drills.
- There are no practices, but coaches are available on games to offer technical instruction to players.
